Surround yourself with 30,000 rosesOriginally created by Mr Hermann Thumm the Patriarch and drive behind Yaldara, and later Chateau BarrosaThis fascinating garden is somewhat forgotten but remains one of South Australia's more remarkable secrets.The Garden was officially opened by HRH Queen Elizabeth in 2002 and was recognised at the time as the largest collection of Roses in the southern hemisphere.While it may no longer hold that grand title, the current custodians, Mark and Mandy Creed, have very definite intentions to return the garden to it's former glory, and more than this, to lift the garden to among the worlds top10 gardens.

The Garden is so highly regarded by Australia's own Rosarian royalty. Actually they are earthy and humble, and very very passionate about Roses (and gardens).After the 2010 General meeting of the SA Rose society, held at Lyndoch Hill, the Lyndoch Hill friends of the garden was formed.The passion and care demonstrated in the kitchen, in hospitality and wine is also reflected in the garden through the many friends and staff of the business.Our friends of the garden have had a significant and invaluable impact on the garden recovery and improvements. Lyndoch Hill provides a ranegs of hosptiality services from daily restaurant activity to large functions along with accommodation, conferences, wine sales and develping the garden as a 'must see' of the Barossa

marketing is an essential part of the business and we are always interested to talk to people who have good computer skills, organisational skills, and a flair for all facets of marketing.

Lyndoch Hill has a solid stable team of employees however with time the team will grow and change, as the business grows and develops, new job prospects become available.

Lyndoch Hill is always interested in improving the busiiness quality with experienced and highly motivated staff. Housekeeping - Contract / Casual

Duties; cleaning of rooms, (living area and bathrooms), along with maintenance cleaning, inside and outside. cleaning is also required in the administration areas and restaurants, work spaces and bathrooms. Stock management including linen and provisions

Hours; Generally housekeeping duties are required between 9.30am - 3pm 7 days

Restaurant Service -

Experienced Waiting Staff

Duties: Floor service, Bar service.

Senior / Managerial position is potentially available

Hours: generally the restaurant is available from 6pm - 10pm 7 days, some lunch trade and some special functions.
